A first for the CitySprint in the Channel Islands.
The first EVC CitySprint has been sold, delivered, and registered in Jersey through Mansell Motorrad of St Helier, complete with full island approval including a 40mph speed-limiting modification. Further units are already en route. Our thanks go to Greg Mansell and the Mansell Motorrad team for their support.
CitySprint headlines at RTX 2026
The complete CitySprint line-up is on show at the UK’s largest road transport event, on Stand G49 alongside two MAN TGE models from Group company Steadplan Ltd. Visitors can test drive the CitySprint at the official Ride & Drive programme and spot a dedicated EVC runaround vehicle operating throughout the show.
Land’s End to John O’Groats, complete
EVC supported a team of four retired military cyclists raising funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. The support CitySprint covered 1,148 miles with zero mechanical issues, exceeding its quoted 120-mile range on multiple occasions, even at maximum payload. The support van will be on the EVC stand at RTX.
Exceptional feedback from UK fleet trials
Several extended trials with local authorities and major UK businesses completed in June. While participants remain confidential, feedback has been universally positive, with operators praising driveability, payload performance, range consistency, and ease of use.
International expansion: Malta & Cyprus
Lee and Penny Seward, EVC’s representatives for Southern England, Malta and Cyprus, have advanced the brand’s presence in both markets. Stock is now available, including the company’s best-selling fridge / freezer combination.
