Plug In Bradford District 2026
Bradford Council and Let’s Experience Electric bring EVs and sustainable transport to Centenary Square, helping residents and businesses explore the switch to electric. We are bringing a selection of CitySprint vehicles to showcase on the day, alongside local dealers, charging demonstrations, and dedicated business sessions in City Hall on fleet decarbonisation.

In June, EVC proudly supported a team of four retired military cyclists riding from Land’s End to John O’Groats in aid of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, the charity founded by Scottish rugby legend Doddie Weir to fund research into Motor Neurone Disease.
A CitySprint travelled every mile as the support vehicle, covering 1,148 miles with zero mechanical issues and comfortably exceeding its quoted 120-mile range on multiple occasions, even at maximum payload. The support van then went on display on the EVC stand at RTX.

A look back at where we have been.
Road Transport Expo (RTX)
Three days at the UK’s leading road transport exhibition, with the complete CitySprint line-up on show alongside two MAN TGE models from Group company Steadplan Ltd. We debuted our Hot and Cold Food vehicles, drawing enquiries for some amazing ventures, and supplied the organisers with the official RTX support vehicle. Test drives earned great reviews throughout, and our mobile screen vehicle proved a huge hit when we hosted exhibitors to watch the England game after the show.

The Everything Electric series came to the South West for the very first time, and the response was fantastic. The full CitySprint range drew a steady crowd in the CV Zone, and our MD Keith Sims took to the Electric Theatre Stage panel to make the business case for commercial EVs. Lots of enthusiasm, plenty of test drives, and brilliant conversations across both days.

A busy couple of days at the UK’s leading technical event for the arable industry, in its memorable new home at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm. The weather wasn’t on our side, but the interest in the CitySprint certainly was, with strong demand from rural, estate, and agricultural operators looking for a capable, zero-emission workhorse.

The EVC CitySprint was honoured to be shortlisted for Vehicle of the Year at the Fleet Vision International Awards, alongside Mercedes-Benz Trucks UK, Scarab Sweepers UK, NTM GB, eMoTria, and Hillend Engineering. Although we didn’t take the trophy home this time, being nominated and shortlisted in our debut year is recognition we’re proud of.
RTX Northern Ireland
The CitySprint made its Northern Ireland debut at RTX at the Eikon Exhibition Centre. Our team met with fleet managers and industry professionals from across the region over two busy days on the stand.

The official UK launch of the EVC CitySprint. All five configurations were unveiled to an audience of fleet managers, industry professionals, and press.
